Introduction of CertusBio

CertusBio 研发了一种全新的生物传感技术,它是基于芯片实验室生物传感技术研发的无干扰污水监控系统,不同于现有的技术,它可以不受化学污染物相互干扰而提供实时、定点工业废水监控管理,从而在工业化生产中达到合理利用资源和能源。新型的监控和加工控制技术可以实现:(1 减少工业加工厂生产过程中产生的原材料损耗;和(2)减少污水处理厂处理污水的耗电量。


CertusBio已开发两种技术原型:(1)牛奶-保护装置和(2)曝气-保护装置。该技术依赖于可以检测乳糖和生化需氧量的生物传感器。初期试验结果显示该技术可以在牛奶加工过程中提供生产损耗的实时数据,仅在单项的加工进程中,乳品加工厂在2小时之内的加工成本损耗就超过了3万纽币。曝气—保护装置技术可以用于检测污水处理厂进水测试中的生化含氧量指数。


此外,CertusBio 20179月,中国第三届大学生创新创业比赛中荣获银奖。

CertusBio develops novel lab-on-a-chip biosesensor technologies that optimise large-scale industrial processing outcomes.   CertusBio provides real-time, locations specific industrial wastewater monitoring unlike existing products that do not give accurate information when operating in a wastewater environment due to interference from other chemicals. CertusBio was established to meet the resource and energy efficiency industrial manufacturing megatrend. New monitoring and process control technologies are required that allow: (1) industrial manufacturers to reduce raw material losses during processing and (2) wastewater treatment plants to reduce energy usage during wastewater treatment.


CertusBio has developed two prototype technologies: (1) Milk-Guard and (2) Aeration-Guard. The technologies are based on Lactose and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) biosesensors. The competitive advantage (interference free monitoring) of the Milk-Guard technology has been proven in a major New Zealand dairy processor. Initial results show that the technology provides real-time information on product losses during milk-processing where a single processing event can cost processors greater than NZ$30,000 in a 2-hour period. The Aeration-Guard technology is capable of measuring the BOD of wastewater treatment plant influent in laboratory trials.
